"The Afternoon Show", RTE's premier afternoon television show, sent one of their journalists, Bairbre Power, on our 8 Week Beginners Digital Photography course in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin.

Bairbre came to us with a compact digital camera which she taught was only capable of taking snapshots with lots of 'red-eye'. We showed her how much it could actually do.

Bairbre says she absolutely loved the course and has enjoyed every moment of it. Before she started on the course she would just aim her camera and take a shot but there is so much more to it. She is now conscious of composition, she looks at available lighting in the room, and she is very reluctant to just shoot with the flash as this compromises the picture. She also takes her time over a photo now."
